Two-faced, two-timed and double crossed, this action thriller’s storyline is so convoluted you’ll need a map to figure it out – but trust us, that’s all part of the fun.
Bobby Beans (Washington) is an undercover Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) officer who’s paired up with local thug “Stig” (Wahlberg) to help infiltrate a Mexican cartel. What Beans fails to realise however is that Stig is an undercover Marine intelligence officer also trying to bag the bad guys.
After a bank heist goes wrong, the boys find themselves on the run from each other and just about everyone else – the CIA, the Mexicans and some corrupt superiors to boot – in this action-packed thriller. As ridiculous as some of the twists and turns are, the film is guaranteed to put a grin on your face.
The perfectly cast Wahlberg and Washington provide plenty of witty one-liners and fantastic comedic timing to keep this movie flying by. You’ll get plenty of fun with added firepower in this film.
