IHG Hotels at Dubai Festival City is introducing a line-up of new food and entertainment offerings this September, aiming to bring together families, friends, and the wider community as the city transitions into the back-to-school season.

According to Thomas Schmelter, Area General Manager of IHG Hotels at Dubai Festival City, the programme reflects the group’s focus on creating “moments that matter” for every guest. “September is about reconnecting after summer,” he said. “Our focus is to offer welcoming spaces where families and friends can relax, recharge, and share memorable experiences—whether through our signature brunches, live music evenings, or refined dining.”

The Big Toys Brunch

In collaboration with Toys R’ Us, Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Festival City is hosting The Big Toys Brunch on 14 September from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Sirocco restaurant. The event features an international buffet for adults and a dedicated children’s area offering supervised play, creative workshops, and interactive games inspired by popular toys.

The brunch is priced at AED 195 per adult, AED 85 for children aged six to twelve, with complimentary entry for children under six.

Belgian Café Happy Hour

At Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City, Belgian Café is inviting guests to unwind daily with a Happy Hour running from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Alongside discounted brews and a new light-bite menu, guests can enjoy live sports screenings across multiple big screens. Its terrace overlooking Dubai Creek provides a relaxed European-style setting for after-work or weekend gatherings.

Prices start at AED 35 for snacks and AED 38 for beverages.

Vista Live Nights

For music lovers, Vista at InterContinental Dubai Festival City is launching Vista Live Nights. Running Wednesday to Saturday from 9:30 pm onwards, the evenings feature live performances against panoramic views of Dubai’s skyline. Guests can also choose from an à la carte menu of light dining and handcrafted drinks.

Saturday Family Brunch at Anise

Anise at InterContinental Dubai Festival City will continue its popular Saturday Family Brunch, offering eight live cooking stations spanning Arabic, Asian, Indian, and European cuisines. Alongside the culinary selection, the brunch includes family entertainment and activities for children.

The experience is priced at AED 329 per adult and AED 125 for children aged six to twelve, with complimentary access for children under six.

Parisian Afternoon Tea at CHOIX

Rounding out the September programme, CHOIX by Pierre Gagnaire is serving a Parisian Afternoon Tea daily from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Guests can enjoy scones, pastries, savoury bites, and signature macarons paired with DAMMANN Frères teas and speciality coffees. The elegant setting overlooks Dubai Creek, providing a refined backdrop for relaxed afternoons.

Priced at AED 125 per person, the tea service reflects the chef’s signature approach to French-inspired dining.

With this series of culinary and entertainment offerings, IHG Hotels at Dubai Festival City aims to provide both residents and visitors with opportunities to reconnect, celebrate, and enjoy Dubai’s hospitality scene throughout September.
