Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – April 18, 2026: South African superstar Tyla, a two-time GRAMMY® winner, will perform at the post-qualifying concert on the Main Stage of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit during the FORMULA 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2026, organizers confirmed. The announcement adds to a weekend packed with high-speed racing and live entertainment along the Red Sea coastline from April 17–19.
Tyla, whose global hit “Water” made her the highest-charting African female soloist in Billboard Hot 100 history and exceeded one billion Spotify streams, will join a lineup of international performers including Shakira, Pitbull, Kygo, and Marwan Moussa. Her debut album, TYLA, produced twelve Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Chart entries, while follow-up releases like TYLA+ and the single Chanel have cemented her status as a major figure in pop, R&B, and African music.
The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, held on the world’s fastest street circuit, has become a highlight on the Formula 1 calendar for its night racing spectacle and blend of motorsport and live entertainment. The 2026 edition is expected to be particularly competitive with the debut of new F1 cars designed for closer racing, the expansion of the grid to include Cadillac and Audi, and reigning World Champion Lando Norris defending his title against four-time champion Max Verstappen. The F1 Academy will also return, spotlighting emerging female racing talent.
“Tyla’s performance reflects the Grand Prix’s commitment to combining world-class motorsport with entertainment experiences that resonate globally,” said a spokesperson for the Saudi Motorsport Company.
The inclusion of international artists alongside the high-stakes racing underscores Formula 1’s growing focus on fan engagement beyond the track. By pairing elite competition with headline music acts, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix has become a cultural as well as a sporting event, attracting attendees from across the region and the world.
Tickets for the three-day event remain in high demand, with organizers promising additional headline performances in the coming weeks. The convergence of championship-level racing and live music positions the 2026 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix as a landmark event for Formula 1’s Middle Eastern calendar.
