LG Unveils 2025 OLED and QNED TV Lineup for GCC Region

LG Electronics has announced the regional rollout of its 2025 OLED and QNED TV lineup across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), aiming to reinforce its position as a global leader in home entertainment technology. The new models promise an enhanced user experience, combining next-generation display innovation with artificial intelligence capabilities.

The launch follows LG’s recent milestone of surpassing 10 million OLED TV sales in Europe—a figure that underscores the growing global demand for OLED technology and consumer confidence in LG’s product range. Over the past decade, LG has introduced several industry-firsts in OLED TVs, including the curved screen, 4K Ultra HD, rollable displays, transparent panels, and now, wireless 4K technology.

The 2025 OLED lineup includes the M5, G5, C5, and B5 series, each offering high-performance visuals supported by LG’s advanced α (Alpha) AI processors. These processors analyse and optimise content in real-time, enhancing image clarity and depth regardless of source. All models are certified for “Perfect Black” and “Perfect Color,” ensuring exceptional contrast and vivid detail across various lighting conditions.

A standout feature of the M5 series is its Zero Connect wireless system, which transmits video and audio signals wirelessly from a separate box at up to 144Hz. This marks the first time an OLED TV has enabled full-resolution wireless transmission, offering consumers a cable-free setup without compromising on performance.

The new lineup also introduces the upgraded webOS 25 platform, powered by AI to deliver a more personalised and intuitive experience. Features such as AI Picture/Sound Wizard, AI Chatbot, and AI Voice ID use large language models to tailor content settings based on user behaviour. LG has also focused on the gaming segment, with the G5 model featuring the industry’s first 4K 165Hz Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), backed by both NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium certifications.

Beyond OLED, LG is expanding its premium LCD offering with the QNED evo range. These TVs incorporate Mini LED backlighting with precision dimming, alongside the α AI processor to enhance both colour and contrast. Certified by Intertek, the QNED evo series is designed to deliver lifelike images in both bright and dark viewing environments.

Advanced features such as AI Object Enhancer and Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro further refine on-screen elements, ensuring realism in faces, landscapes, and motion. The audio experience is also upgraded with AI Sound Pro, which produces virtual 9.1.2 surround sound through the TV’s built-in speakers for a cinematic experience without the need for external systems.

An LG spokesperson noted that the company’s 2025 range reflects its continued commitment to innovation and user-centric design:

“Our focus remains on developing smart, immersive technologies that enhance daily life and elevate home entertainment.”

The full range is now available for preview in GCC markets. For more details, visit www.lg.com/ae/tv-video.
