Azizi Developments has announced a partnership with Turkish company Mertoglu to provide outdoor play equipment at Azizi Venice. The community is located in Dubai South and is built around a large swimmable lagoon.

Mertoglu specialises in outdoor play systems for residential and public spaces. The company focuses on safety, long-term use and designs that suit children of different ages. Its equipment encourages movement, imagination and social interaction.

The agreement supports Azizi’s goal to build family-focused communities. Mertoglu’s equipment will be placed in shared outdoor areas across Azizi Venice. These spaces will give children safe places to play while supporting an active lifestyle for residents.

Mr. Farhad Azizi, Group CEO of Azizi Group, said: “We are pleased to partner with Mertoglu, a well-established international manufacturer of premium play and recreational equipment. This collaboration aligns with our vision for thoughtfully planned, family-oriented communities and reinforces our commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging outdoor amenities”.

Azizi Venice will feature more than 36,000 apartments across over 100 buildings, as well as more than 109 luxury mansions. Azizi Developments is leading all construction and infrastructure works.

The project centres on a large blue lagoon that surrounds the homes. Residents and visitors will enjoy beaches, walking and cycling tracks, yoga areas and sports facilities. A promenade will host cafés, dining outlets and retail spaces. Landscaped greenery will run throughout the community.

A key feature of Azizi Venice will be the Cultural District. It will include an opera house, theatre, exhibition space and a performing arts academy. The district will reflect Dubai’s cultural mix and support creative talent.

The opera house will seat 2,500 guests and will be designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. It will feature modern sound and stage systems. A smaller 400-seat theatre will support local shows and workshops. The exhibition hall will host art displays and digital exhibitions. A performing arts academy will train future performers.

The development will also include a pedestrian zone that changes with the seasons. It will stay open-air in winter and covered in summer. Retail and dining outlets will line the streets.

Azizi Venice aims to attract more than 30,000 visitors each day. Two five-star hotels will sit at the main entrances, with a boutique hotel located on an island in the lagoon. Underground parking will support easy access.

The site will also include a hospital, nursery and schools. A landscaped 4 km main road will feature dining and retail options. Children will have access to safe play areas. Decorative lighting and water fountains will add character to the area.

The Azizi Developments Sales Gallery is located on the 13th floor of the Conrad Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road.
