AlUla, renowned for its ancient heritage and cultural significance, is preparing a spectacular celebration to ring in 2026. Icons Assala Nasri and Adam will headline the New Year’s Eve gala on 31 December 2025, bringing together world-class performances and the dramatic desert scenery of AlUla.
Taking place at the Thanaya AlUla outdoor venue, the evening offers a unique musical experience in the open air. Visitors will gather beneath the night sky surrounded by AlUla’s imposing sandstone cliffs and vast canyons, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for the year’s final moments.
Acclaimed star Assala Nasri, affectionately titled the “Queen of Arab Music,” will take audiences through a selection of her celebrated works, including Ya Magnoon, Tasawar, Bent Akaber, and Mabaash Ana.
Lebanese singer Adam, known for his expressive voice and powerful stage presence, will join her with some of his most recognisable songs, including Kifak Enta, Khalas Eldam, Haza Ana, and Bhebak Ana.
The New Year’s Eve concert highlights AlUla’s dedication to hosting distinguished cultural and artistic events, reinforcing the destination’s growing prominence as a hub for creativity, heritage and musical excellence. Visitors will be able to celebrate the new year in a landscape where ancient storytelling merges seamlessly with modern performance.

AlUla’s Year-End and 2026 Cultural Season
Winter at Tantora, part of the AlUla Moments 2025–2026 programme, runs from 18 December to 10 January and offers a diverse schedule of music, heritage activities, cultural showcases and outdoor adventures that reflect the charm of AlUla in winter.
The AlUla Arts Festival returns from 16 January to 14 February 2026 with an expanded line-up. Visitors can look forward to the fourth edition of Desert X AlUla as well as a major contemporary art exhibition created in collaboration with the contemporary art museum in AlUla – as part of its pre-opening programme – and Centre Pompidou. The festival will bring installations, exhibitions and design programming to key sites across AlUla.
On 16–17 January, AlUla Desert Polo will showcase high-level equestrian sport in the oasis, followed by the AlUla Trail Race on 22–23 January, challenging athletes across rugged and scenic terrain.
Although the Ancient Kingdoms Festival ends on 6 December, several of its most popular immersive attractions will continue for an extended period. Highlights include The Incense Road Experience, Hegra After Dark, Secrets of the Scribe: Ikmah After Dark, and the Old Town Escape House, offering further opportunities for visitors to explore AlUla’s history and landscapes.
