Presight has kicked off its Eureka 2.0 R&D programme, announcing that employees from across the business submitted 87 AI and data innovation proposals, reflecting strong internal momentum for idea generation.
The Eureka 2.0 initiative is part of Presight’s ‘Future Ready Employees’ framework, which aims to accelerate the development of AI-powered tools by tapping into the creativity and technical capability of its workforce. Through a structured process of evaluation, investment, and scaling, the programme promotes a vibrant internal innovation culture.
Dr. Adel Al Sharji, Chief Operating Officer of Presight, commented: “I share my congratulations to the initial shortlist of the Eureka 2.0 program and thank all applicants for participating. The volume and quality of proposals is reflective of why Presight is a globally leading AI company. I’m incredibly proud to see the passion for innovation, depth of expertise, and level of ingenuity shown by our Presighters. Through the Eureka 2.0 program we aimed to nurture a culture where experimentation and bold thinking are encouraged, and it pleases me to see our team warmly embracing it. It’s not just an innovation competition, it’s a talent program too, helping our teams to be future ready and more employable.”
Winning proposals emerging from the programme will be reviewed for potential integration into Presight’s existing suite of AI products and services.
After opening for submissions in September, all 87 proposals were evaluated by a leadership panel. At the launch event, the top 25 entries were shortlisted, and these teams now advance to the mentoring and concept-improvement stage.
Finalists will benefit from customised support delivered by nine of Presight’s leading specialists, covering areas such as engineering, commercialisation, software development, project management, and proof-of-concept validation.
On Wednesday 26 November, the finalists will present their refined proposals to a jury of mentors, vying for a place in the grand finals with the Executive Leadership team. The overall winner will then be chosen via live voting by Presight employees during the company’s year-end celebration on 12 December. Selection criteria include originality, feasibility, strategic alignment, and projected impact.
The Eureka 2.0 initiative follows the achievements of the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator, launched earlier this year. That programme attracted 120 global startup applications, selected 10 finalists, and generated more than 70 qualified strategic and commercial leads, with several ventures nearing major partnerships. Eureka 2.0 now gives Presight’s employees the same chance to pursue innovative concepts and entrepreneurial development internally.
