The 10th SPNS Conference has drawn 600 paediatric neurology professionals from local, regional, and international institutions to Riyadh for a comprehensive exchange of scientific expertise and clinical best practice. The event aims to support the advancement of paediatric neurological care through knowledge sharing, research collaboration, and evidence-based application.

Prof. Fahad Bashiri, Professor and Consultant Pediatric Neurologist at the College of Medicine and King Saud University Medical City, King Saud University, and President of the Saudi Pediatric Neurology Society, said: “Saudi Pediatric Neurology Society (SPNS) achieved many goals in medical education for healthcare providers, community service and awareness, and support of research in pediatric neurology. “Technology and AI are becoming central to pediatric neurology. AI-assisted tools are being used for EEG interpretation, neuroimaging analysis, and early detection of certain neurological disorders. Telemedicine has improved access to specialized care, especially in remote regions. In Saudi Arabia, these technologies are being integrated within national digital health platforms to enhance diagnosis, and follow-up”. Added Chairman of the Congress, Dr. Mohammed Al-Omari.
