Canadian comedy rock-star Russell Peters is returning to the capital after a sellout show last year.

Peters is set to perform at du Arena, Yas Island on Wednesday 23rd October in the Abu Dhabi leg of his Notorious World Tour.

“It’s great to be coming back to Abu Dhabi,” Peters said. “When I was here last year I had just started the Notorious World Tour, the act has grown since then and I’ve had a few new adventures along the way that I’m looking forward to sharing with my UAE fans.”

Last year, due to popular demand, Flash Entertainment added a second show to his scheduled performance after the initial show sold out within an hour.

This year Peters will play to a larger, all-seated crowd of thousands at the open-air du Arena. For tickets visit: www.ticketmaster.ae or call: 800 86 823.

Also returning to the capital is US Open Champion, Rafael Nadal, for the Mubadala World Tennis Championship.

Ranked as the current world No. 2, Nadal will play alongside world No. 1 Novak Djokovic, world No. 3 Andy Murray and three unnamed tennis stars.

“After the disappointment of last year I promised my fans in the UAE I would return so I’m very happy it’s happening so soon and I’m back in the player line-up,” said Nadal.

“This will be my fifth time playing in Abu Dhabi and I’m sure I’ll face some tough competition but I’m hoping to take the title for a third time. The atmosphere is always fantastic and will be counting on the crowds’ support to help me win again this year!”

The tournament will take place at Zayed Sports City from 26th to 28th December. For tickets visit: www.ticketmaster.ae or call:
