Ooredoo Kuwait has announced preparations for one of the country’s most anticipated technology events of 2025, with the launch of the iPhone 17 set to take place on Friday, 19 September, at the Ooredoo Tower.

Branded as “The Device You’ve All Been Waiting For”, the event promises to be a landmark occasion in Kuwait’s technology calendar, offering an immersive mix of innovation, entertainment, and exclusive offers.

According to the telecoms operator, the event will feature live music, gourmet dining, and a youthful, vibrant atmosphere aimed at a broad audience, from technology enthusiasts to music and gaming fans. Attendees will also be able to engage with the latest advancements in artificial intelligence and view projects presented by young Kuwaiti entrepreneurs.

Advanced Network for Next-Gen Devices

The iPhone 17 launch will be closely tied to Ooredoo’s upgraded digital infrastructure. Earlier this year, the company rolled out its 5G Advanced network, designed to support applications ranging from artificial intelligence to augmented and virtual reality.

Ooredoo says the improvements will ensure that customers can enjoy the full potential of the iPhone 17, whether for professional use, entertainment, or everyday communication.

Exclusive Access and Surprises

The highlight of the event will be the official unveiling of the iPhone 17 at 4:00 pm, giving attendees the chance to be among the first to experience the device in Kuwait. Sales will begin simultaneously across Ooredoo branches nationwide.

The company has also promised a series of “unprecedented” offers and surprises, details of which will be revealed during the launch.

Mohammad AlJumah, Senior Manager of Business and Consumer Sales, said: “The launch of the iPhone 17 will be a landmark moment, combining advanced technology with an exceptional customer experience. We look forward to making this event a milestone in our journey of serving our customers with innovative solutions.”

Mashari Abdullah Al-Abduljaleel, Director of Elite and VIP Accounts, added that Ooredoo’s high-value customers would receive tailored offers and exclusive experiences.

A Major Moment for Kuwait’s Tech Scene

With a blend of cutting-edge technology, entertainment, and community engagement, Ooredoo says the iPhone 17 launch will be one of Kuwait’s defining events this year, reinforcing the operator’s position as a leader in telecommunications and customer innovation.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 17 are already open through Ooredoo Kuwait’s official website.
