Oman Air has been announced as the Official Airline Partner for COMEX 2025, underscoring its strategic commitment to innovation and digital transformation within the Sultanate and the wider region.

Unveiled during a press conference hosted by the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology, the partnership positions Oman Air at the forefront of Oman’s largest technology and innovation exhibition, which will take place from 7–10 September 2025 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The collaboration is a key milestone in Oman Air’s digital-first transformation journey. From streamlined self-service tools and direct online bookings to an expanded suite of Oman Air Holidays and connectivity with the global oneworld network, the airline is actively redefining travel convenience for today’s digital travellers. Guests can now access over 900 destinations in 170 countries, all while enjoying Oman Air’s award-winning hospitality and service.

“As the official airline partner, we are proud to support COMEX in advancing Oman’s position as the digital gateway of the region,” said Mike Rutter, Chief Commercial Officer at Oman Air. “This collaboration underscores our commitment to driving digital innovation across every part of the travel experience. It also reflects a broader national vision, one where aviation plays a key role in enabling smarter, more connected ecosystems across tourism, trade, and technology.”

At COMEX 2025, Oman Air will showcase its latest innovations through an interactive booth, offering visitors a close-up look at its Business Studio cabin and other next-generation travel solutions. The booth is designed to highlight the airline’s fusion of comfort, technology, and Omani hospitality.

As part of its partnership with COMEX, Oman Air is also rolling out a suite of strategic support initiatives:

  • Aircraft branding with a special COMEX decal
  • Digital activations across social and online platforms
  • Tailored MICE travel support for international and regional delegates
  • Co-branded inflight entertainment content to promote COMEX to a wider audience

COMEX 2025 is expected to welcome more than 300 exhibitors from around the world across sectors such as smart cities, fintech, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and cybersecurity. The event is a cornerstone of Oman’s digital transformation agenda, offering a key platform for public and private stakeholders to collaborate on building a smarter, more connected future.

With Oman Air as the official airline, COMEX 2025 gains not only global aviation support but also a national champion of digital innovation and excellence in travel. The partnership aims to elevate regional participation, stimulate tourism-driven digital growth, and position Oman as a tech-forward hub in the GCC.
