Olive Rock Partners and Cedro Strategy Team Up to Strengthen IVF Services in Abu Dhabi

Alliance supports the next phase of HealthPlus IVF & Women’s Health

Olive Rock Partners (ORP) has announced a strategic collaboration with Cedro Strategy to guide the next stage of development for HealthPlus IVF & Women’s Health Abu Dhabi. ORP is an investor in the Gulf healthcare sector, while Cedro Strategy specialises in healthcare transformation. Together, they aim to support long-term clinical quality and operational improvement at the Abu Dhabi-based provider.

This move builds on the ownership change completed earlier this year, when Olive Rock Partners assumed full control of HealthPlus IVF & Women’s Health Abu Dhabi from global healthcare platform M42. The transaction allows ORP to focus investment and management attention on fertility and women’s health services in the UAE.

The initiative aligns with Abu Dhabi’s ambition to establish itself as a leading centre for reproductive medicine. It also supports the Department of Health’s strategy to attract specialist professionals, strengthen medical capability, and promote innovation across the healthcare system. HealthPlus IVF & Women’s Health is expected to contribute by offering high-quality treatment, consistent patient care, and services that appeal to regional and international patients.

Commenting on the partnership, Abdullah Shahin, Founding Partner at Olive Rock Partners, said: “HealthPlus IVF & Women’s Health represents a unique opportunity to build a next-generation fertility and women’s health platform for Abu Dhabi and the broader region. As we embark on this new chapter, our work with Cedro Strategy reflects our shared commitment to disciplined execution and long-term value creation. Our vision is fully aligned with Abu Dhabi’s ambition to attract world-class capabilities in fertility care, and we look forward to unlocking the full potential of this platform.”

Rayan Salam, Founder & CEO of Cedro Strategy, added: “We are pleased to partner with Olive Rock Partners at this important moment. Our focus is on building a differentiated platform that delivers superior clinical outcomes, an elevated patient journey, and a future-ready model for fertility and women’s health. We are introducing advanced technologies, modern digital capabilities, and world-class talent to ensure that HealthPlus IVF & Women’s Health delivers some of the most advanced fertility services available anywhere in the world.”

Under the post-acquisition governance framework, Rayan Salam has been appointed Chairman of the Board of HealthPlus IVF & Women’s Health. In this role, he will oversee strategy and ensure that operational plans support long-term objectives.

Both parties confirmed that patient services will continue as normal throughout the transition. All medical and support teams remain in place, and HealthPlus IVF & Women’s Health will continue to provide uninterrupted care with the same service standards.
