The Middle East’s rapidly evolving technology ecosystem is set to take centre stage later this year, as the 2025 Tech Innovation Awards are announced for Dubai.

Organised by Entrepreneur Middle East, the awards will be held on 25 September 2025 at Al Habtoor Palace, recognising individuals and enterprises driving the region’s digital transformation.

The event, now firmly established in the MENA innovation calendar, is designed to celebrate achievements across multiple industries. From fintech and healthtech to logistics, agritech, and gaming, the awards seek to showcase both established players and emerging startups making their mark on the sector.

Wide-ranging categories

Nominations are open until 18 September 2025 through the official Tech Innovation Awards website.

The categories span more than 40 areas, including:

  • Best Digital Transformation
  • Fintech Innovation of the Year
  • Healthtech Company of the Year
  • AI Innovation of the Year
  • Blockchain Innovation of the Year
  • Best Cybersecurity Solution
  • Best Edtech Solution
  • Cleantech Solution of the Year
  • Smart Mobility Solution of the Year
  • Startup of the Year
  • Entrepreneur of the Year
  • Tech Leader of the Year

A strong focus has been placed on emerging technologies such as generative AI, AR/VR, biotech, and smart city solutions, reflecting the pace of innovation in the region.

Rigorous selection process

Entries will be assessed by a panel of judges, who will evaluate nominations on their impact, creativity, and contribution to the region’s digital economy. Shortlisted candidates are expected to be announced ahead of the gala dinner, with anticipation building among startups and established firms alike.

Past editions of the awards have been seen as a platform to highlight the region’s progress towards a knowledge-based economy, aligning with wider government ambitions for diversification and technological advancement.

Spotlight on innovation

This year’s edition is expected to draw significant attention, given the accelerating pace of adoption across sectors from finance and healthcare to hospitality and logistics.

By recognising both innovators and enablers, the Tech Innovation Awards aim not only to reward success but also to inspire collaboration across the ecosystem.

As the MENA region continues to position itself as a hub for entrepreneurship and digital growth, industry leaders say the awards provide a timely opportunity to reflect on progress and chart the path forward.

The winners will be announced at the gala dinner in Dubai on 25 September, where the region’s technology community will gather to honour achievements shaping its digital future.
