Hyundai Motor Company has revealed the first teaser images of its forthcoming IONIQ 6 N, the marque’s next high-performance electric vehicle, ahead of its official debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Following the success of the IONIQ 5 N, which has earned critical acclaim and motorsport victories since its 2023 launch, the IONIQ 6 N is expected to raise the bar for electric performance sedans. The new model promises to embody Hyundai N’s signature pillars: Corner Rascal, Racetrack Capability, and Everyday Sports Car.

The teaser images suggest a sleek, aggressively styled four-door sedan, complete with flared fenders, lightweight wheels, and a large rear wing spoiler – all pointing to a design optimised for aerodynamic efficiency and high-speed stability.

“IONIQ 6 N will once again disrupt the high-performance EV segment to deliver exciting driving experiences to our fans,” said Joon Park, Vice President and Head of N Management Group at Hyundai Motor Company. “We chose to debut the IONIQ 6 N at Goodwood Festival of Speed to be as close to our fans as possible.”

The move marks Hyundai’s continued focus on electrified motorsport-inspired performance, blending sustainable design with track-tested engineering. While technical specifications have yet to be released, expectations are high given the IONIQ 5 N’s legacy, which includes all-wheel drive, dual motors, and enhanced battery cooling for high-performance endurance.

The IONIQ 6 N teaser hints at a vehicle aimed at pushing the boundaries of EV performance, while remaining practical enough for daily use. The model is positioned to compete with offerings from Porsche, Tesla, and BMW in the electric sport sedan category.

By launching at Goodwood, one of the most prestigious automotive events globally, Hyundai is aiming to appeal to a discerning audience of performance enthusiasts and industry insiders alike.

The IONIQ 6 N’s full reveal is expected to showcase Hyundai’s most advanced electric vehicle technology to date, further bolstering the South Korean automaker’s position as a key innovator in the global EV market.
