Gulf Craft, the renowned UAE-headquartered manufacturer of luxury yachts and leisure boats, has been named the winner of the Manufacturing Category at the Emirates Labour Market Award 2025. The award, hosted by MOHRE and held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, recognises organisations that make a significant contribution to shaping a world-leading labour market. The ceremony on 13th November in Abu Dhabi highlighted businesses demonstrating exemplary workplace practices and contributions to national employment excellence.

This recognition marks the first time Gulf Craft has received this distinguished honour, placing the company among the UAE’s leading corporate performers. Selected from nearly 18,000 organisations, the achievement represents an important milestone in Gulf Craft’s long-standing dedication to industrial innovation and the development of its workforce.

The Emirates Labour Market Award celebrates companies that demonstrate strong leadership in workforce empowerment, wellbeing, working environment quality, and readiness for the future. The award criteria cover a wide range of areas, including Emiratisation, skills development, inclusion, workplace safety, and technological innovation – areas where Gulf Craft has consistently excelled.

Speaking at the ceremony after accepting the award on the company’s behalf, Yousuf Alshaali, Office Manager of the Chairman, stated:
“This recognition reflects the environment we create for our employees. We strive to be an employer of choice, and it is the dedication of our management board that ensures a supportive, positive, and forward-looking workplace for everyone at Gulf Craft, across corporate teams and on the factory floor. The award underscores our ongoing commitment to our workforce’s wellbeing, empowerment, cultural diversity and professional growth, which remain at the heart of our success.”

The company’s culture is strongly influenced by the philosophy of its Chairman, Mohammed Hussein Alshaali, who regularly reminds his team:
“Take care of your people, and your people will take care of you.”

As a proudly Emirati organisation, Gulf Craft’s recognition in the Manufacturing Category highlights the nation’s core values of innovation, craftsmanship, and dedication to its people. The award affirms the company’s commitment to fostering a progressive, inclusive, and future-ready workplace, contributing to the UAE’s vision of creating an advanced and globally competitive labour ecosystem.
