TELUS Digital Opens Dubai Office to Boost AI Services

TELUS Digital, the global technology arm of TELUS International, has opened a new regional office in Dubai, marking its official entry into the Middle East. The move highlights the company’s strategic commitment to expanding artificial intelligence (AI)-driven customer experience (CX) services across the Gulf.

The Dubai office will serve as a regional hub for delivering digital transformation solutions — including AI-powered automation, customer experience modernisation, digital strategy consulting, and experience design. With a growing demand for AI and smart solutions across the UAE and its neighbours, TELUS Digital aims to meet both government and private sector needs through local presence and global expertise.

Speaking on the launch, Tobias Dengel, President of TELUS Digital Solutions, said:

“Opening a local office in the Middle East is a natural step in deepening our presence in key growth markets. There’s a growing interest in working with full-service partners from strategy through to scalable AI solutions. This is where we excel.”

The UAE, particularly Dubai, has become a magnet for global technology firms, driven by initiatives like the AI 2031 strategy, which aims to position the country as a global AI leader. Investment in AI infrastructure, compute capacity, and data innovation are enabling sectors such as healthcare, energy, logistics, finance, education, and smart city development to embrace advanced technology at an unprecedented pace.

Mona Kadouh, Managing Director of TELUS Digital Middle East, will lead the Dubai operations. She noted that the company’s approach is rooted in understanding local challenges and delivering tailored solutions rather than off-the-shelf products.

“We like to say we ‘fall in love with our clients’ problems,’” Kadouh said. “Our focus is on deeply collaborative work, powered by proprietary GenAI and data platforms and a trusted ecosystem of global technology partners.”

The Dubai expansion comes amid TELUS Digital’s broader global growth. The company recently opened its second delivery site in Cape Town, South Africa, and its sixth in India, located in GIFT City, India’s first operational smart city and Special Economic Zone (SEZ). These locations strengthen the company’s ability to provide multilingual support and full-spectrum CX delivery to clients across Europe, Asia, and now the Middle East.

With a workforce spread across more than 30 countries, TELUS Digital blends the precision of boutique consulting with the scalability of a multinational operation. The Dubai office is expected to play a critical role in supporting national digital goals and advancing AI adoption in the region.
