Platform Global 2025, the premier gathering for data centre investors and decision-makers, is set to return for its fourth edition with a sharp spotlight on the energy transition required to power the AI era. Scheduled to take place at the Palais des Congrès in Antibes/Juan-les-Pins, the event will feature a newly announced Energy Transition Forum, addressing the critical intersection of data infrastructure growth and energy sustainability.

With data centre campuses and AI-powered factories rapidly expanding worldwide, the forum will explore how current grid infrastructure—particularly in the US and Europe—is under-equipped to support this growth. The program will dive into two key themes that reflect both immediate and long-term industry imperatives.

Powering AI Growth to 2030
The forum will assess interim solutions for the electric power shortfall as demand for AI and data centres surges. It will bring together stakeholders to explore how the industry can bridge the gap until abundant, carbon-free energy becomes widely available.

Reimagining Energy for 2050 and Beyond
Looking ahead, the conversation will pivot to how power generation must more than triple by mid-century. With the accelerating digitalization of global economies, energy companies must rethink their entire generation stack. The forum will highlight investment opportunities in emerging technologies such as nuclear, solar, and advanced battery systems—all critical to long-term, sustainable expansion.

High-Caliber Delegation and Curated Content
Platform Global is known for its curated, high-value networking environment. In 2024, 69% of attendees were C-level executives, affirming its reputation as EMEA’s most senior data centre event. Against the serene Mediterranean setting of Antibes, the 2025 edition promises unmatched insights and elite engagement.

Sustainability at the Forefront
As financing the data infrastructure of tomorrow becomes increasingly tied to sustainability metrics, the Energy Transition Forum will offer essential dialogue on enabling a decarbonised future through coordinated investment and innovation.

Registration is now open for investors, data centre leaders, and companies shaping the industry.
