How would you describe your humour?

…uhm, funny?

Tell us more about your show? What can Abu Dhabi fans expect in terms of your new material?

When I was last in Abu Dhabi, I was just starting the Notorious World Tour. Some of the material was still being worked out.  In the nineteen months since that time, I’ve been to a lot of new countries and I’ve got a lot to say about what I’ve seen in my travels. There’s a lot of new material and I’m really happy about where the act is now.

Where do you get your inspiration? Do you find yourself tweaking your act to suit the Abu Dhabi audience?

My job is to pay attention. One of the reasons that I keep performing internationally is that that’s where I get my inspiration. I definitely pay attention to where I am and for sure I acknowledge the specific stereotypes of where I am.

How does it feel to be performing in Abu Dhabi again?

I love Abu Dhabi. The audiences are great. They get what I’m doing and I really appreciate that.

Is there any accent you can’t master? What’s your favourite accent to emulate and why?

Funny enough I can’t do a Scottish accent. My next-door neighbours growing up were Scottish and I still can’t do it.

Any upcoming projects you have in the works?

I’ll be partnering with Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith’s production company, Overbrook to develop a sitcom. It’s early days right now, but it’s been fun working with them.
