Situated at the five-star Al Raha Beach Hotel, Sevilla offers a superb Friday brunch to get your weekend off to a fulfilling start.
There’s a wide selection of dishes from around the world with Arabic, Asian and European favourites featuring prominently. There’s no shortage of choice and you’re guaranteed to find some hidden treats to pamper every palate, young and old. If you’re keen on trying something different then we recommend the rich and flavoursome rabbit terrine.
With a view over the gardens, pool and sea from the terrace, we chose to sit outside to enjoy the delights on offer from the buffet. For those with impatient children, there’s a children’s corner packed full of amusements. A face-painted, smiling youngster will definitely NOT interrupt your meal!
The cold seafood bar offered an extensive array of dishes with Omani lobster, king prawns, mussels and crab competing for our attention. There’s a delectable choice of sushi to savour, all complemented well by the house beverages.
Sticking with the seafood, we had to try the freshly-grilled prawns, which were fat, juicy and bursting with flavour.
Fans of traditional Emirati fare will enjoy picking off meat from the whole roasted goat while other main courses, perfectly presented and superbly tasting, included grilled steaks, kebabs, chicken and lamb. We lost count of the array of salads on offer.
Curry lovers will also be delighted with the wide range of Indian dishes available.
Not having a sweet tooth prevented me for straying over to the dessert section, but my partner assured me there was a fabulous and tasty selection on offer to end a truly satisfying meal.
