Yango Group, a global technology company, has become one of the first recipients of the Dubai AI Seal at Tier S — the highest possible classification. The recognition highlights the firm’s advanced, reliable, and impactful artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, placing it among a select circle of trusted providers helping to shape Dubai’s digital economy.

The Dubai AI Seal, announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and managed by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI), is designed as a benchmark for trustworthy AI. The classification system evaluates companies across six tiers, with Tier S representing the strongest economic and technological contribution to Dubai.

Saeed Al Falasi, Executive Director at DCAI, said the initiative aims to create stronger collaboration between government and industry:

“The Dubai AI Seal strengthens the AI private sector in Dubai by maximising its business opportunity in the Emirate. It creates the foundation for a more meaningful collaboration between government and the private sector to shape a future where transformative technology serves society with reliability and impact.”

Expanding AI footprint in the UAE

Yango has rolled out several AI-driven services across the UAE in recent years, supporting the emirate’s ambition of becoming a global hub for artificial intelligence. Among its offerings are smart speakers powered by Yasmina, a bilingual AI assistant fluent in Arabic and English, as well as AI-powered robotics for warehouse automation and autonomous delivery robots operating in urban environments.

The company says these innovations not only enhance everyday services but also advance Dubai’s sustainability and efficiency goals.

Regional focus with YangoAI

Earlier this year, Yango introduced YangoAI, a suite of AI technologies tailored to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The solutions are designed to address the specific cultural and business needs of the region, aligning with the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence, a government-led roadmap for harnessing AI in economic and social development.

Sergej Loiter, CEO of Search, AI, and AdTech at Yango Group, described the certification as both a milestone and an opportunity:

“We are proud to receive the Dubai AI Seal, awarded through a pioneering government-backed AI certification program. This is a clear testament that our transformative AI technologies both meet high benchmark standards and drive real economic value. The Dubai AI Seal opens new opportunities for strategic partnerships with government entities and positions us as a trusted AI leader in the region’s digital transformation.”

A new benchmark for AI partnerships

The Dubai AI Seal is expected to become a reference point in future collaborations, guiding public-private partnerships and government project selection in the emirate’s AI sector. By setting clear standards, the scheme seeks to ensure that advanced technologies contribute positively and sustainably to Dubai’s economy.

For Yango Group, securing Tier S status reinforces its position as a leading AI innovator in the Middle East and underscores its commitment to shaping the region’s digital future.
