Focus on international growth and future electric vehicle development

VOYAH, distributed in the UAE by Performance Plus Motors, took part in the 2026 Passenger Vehicle Global Partnership Summit held in Xiamen. The event outlined the brand’s plans for international growth, future vehicle launches and technology development under its parent company, Dongfeng Motor Corporation. VOYAH’s participation highlighted its long-term commitment to the UAE market and electric mobility.

At the summit, Dongfeng confirmed its focus on the global SUV market, with VOYAH playing a central role in this strategy. Recent SUV launches have shown strong market response. The VOYAH Taishan drew particular attention after recording more than 10,000 orders within minutes of launch, indicating strong demand for the brand’s vehicle design, onboard technology and extended-range systems.

During the event, VOYAH UAE received the Network Development Award. The award recognised the progress made in building the brand’s local presence and its contribution to VOYAH’s wider international expansion plans.

VOYAH has set a target to establish 800 sales outlets worldwide by 2030. This goal supports its plan to grow as a global new-energy vehicle manufacturer. In the UAE, this direction aligns with national goals to increase electric vehicle adoption and introduce advanced transport technologies.

“With VOYAH entering a new phase of global expansion, our participation in the summit ensures the UAE remains closely connected to the brand’s evolving vision,” said Mr. Mohamed Elzawawy, General Manager of Performance Plus Motors. “The technologies and platforms showcased, along with the remarkable sales achievements in China, reaffirm our confidence that VOYAH’s momentum will translate strongly to the Emirates. As the brand’s exclusive partner in the UAE, Performance Plus Motors is ready to deliver this next generation of premium electric mobility to customers locally.”

The summit also outlined future international product launches. These include the Passion L and Taishan models, which are planned for the UAE in the third quarter of 2026. Both models are expected to strengthen the brand’s premium electric vehicle offering in the local market.

As interest in connected and low-emission vehicles continues to grow, the UAE remains a key market for VOYAH. The brand’s expanding global network and product range support its next stage of development in the region.
