Telness Tech, the fast-growing cloud-native telecom platform reinventing mobile operations, has appointed seasoned executive John Browett to its Board of Directors. The strategic move is expected to accelerate the company’s global momentum as it continues to reshape telecom for the digital era.

Browett brings an extensive track record of boardroom and operational leadership, having served at the helm of globally recognized brands including Apple, Tesco, and currently, as Chairman of Octopus Group — the creators of Kraken Technologies, a company widely credited with transforming the energy sector through cutting-edge digital platforms.

In his new role at Telness Tech, Browett will offer strategic counsel to support the company’s vision of simplifying telecom through automation, artificial intelligence, and seamless digital experiences.

“Telness Tech is doing to telecom what Kraken has done to the energy sector — rewriting the rules,” said Browett. “Martina and the team have built a unique platform that helps operators leapfrog traditional limitations, making telecom easier, faster, and more joyful. I’m thrilled to be part of that journey.”

Founded by Martina Klingvall, Telness Tech has developed Seamless OS, a cloud-native platform enabling telecom operators and digital-first businesses to quickly launch or modernize mobile services. The platform removes legacy dependencies and reduces time-to-market by integrating AI-driven automation across the customer lifecycle.

Since 2024, Telness Tech has expanded aggressively into the U.S., Europe, and Africa, now powering more than 24 mobile operators, including notable partnerships with T-Mobile and Lebara.

“John’s experience leading some of the world’s most customer-obsessed companies makes him an invaluable addition to our board,” said Klingvall. “His ability to navigate complex global markets and his insights into scaling innovative platforms will help guide our next chapter of growth.”

Telness Tech’s rise has been fueled by the growing demand for agile telecom solutions that match the digital expectations of modern users. With its modular architecture, Seamless OS allows both established operators and new market entrants to rapidly deploy digital-first services without the burden of outdated infrastructure or multiple vendors.

Browett’s appointment comes at a time when telecom operators worldwide are under pressure to modernize. His addition to the board signals Telness Tech’s commitment to combining deep industry expertise with forward-thinking technology to stay ahead of transformation trends.

As Telness Tech continues to disrupt the telecom landscape, Browett’s leadership is poised to help steer the company toward deeper market penetration, stronger partnerships, and broader global impact.
