MoU delivers skill-building and professional visibility for more than 3,100 ICAI Dubai members

Tally Solutions, one of the UAE’s foremost business management solution providers, has formalised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the ICAI Dubai Chapter to promote technology adoption, ongoing professional development, and increased visibility for Chartered Accountants in the UAE.

The ICAI Dubai Chapter, which represents over 3,100 active members, plays an integral role in guiding the local finance sector and SME network. Through the new collaboration, Tally Solutions will conduct six specialised TallyPrime masterclasses during the year, offering hands-on training in advanced accounting and compliance technologies to help SMEs streamline operations, boost precision, and deliver greater value to clients.

Speaking about the initiative, Vikas Panchal, General Manager, Tally Solutions MENA, said, “Our collaboration with the ICAI Dubai Chapter is a continuation of our efforts to build an ecosystem where individuals & SMEs are empowered to lead with knowledge and confidence in technology. The UAE’s tax landscape is evolving rapidly, and with our Digital Tax Integration Agreement with the Federal Tax Authority, we are uniquely positioned to support CAs in understanding compliance and guiding SMEs. This partnership reflects our shared vision of advancing professional excellence while strengthening the UAE’s business community.”

Highlighting the importance of SMEs to the economy, CA Jai Prakash Agarwal, Chairman of the ICAI Dubai Chapter, said, “Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are the backbone of any economy, and if the economy wants to thrive and grow fast, the backbone needs to be strong, else the economy will cripple. Tally helps in keeping that backbone strong by keeping the product simple and the process easy. ICAI Dubai Chapter believes in this simplicity and ease, and therefore, the collaboration of Tally and ICAI Dubai has entered its tenth year, where, through education, knowledge, and training, we together keep elevating and empowering SMEs in the UAE.”

This MoU strengthens an already long-standing partnership between Tally and ICAI Dubai Chapter. It comes as the UAE’s tax framework undergoes significant evolution, marked by the rollout of Corporate Tax, e-filing of VAT, and the forthcoming e-invoicing requirements. By aligning training initiatives with practical technology tools, the collaboration ensures finance professionals stay well-equipped to meet new compliance standards.

Beyond upskilling, practising Chartered Accountants will gain access to Tally’s Bosses of Bookkeeping (BoB) platform and its thriving network of over 70,000 UAE businesses. This community hub offers professionals the chance to showcase expertise and build visibility among SMEs that seek trusted financial guidance.

Tally will also maintain a regular presence at ICAI Dubai Chapter events throughout the year, providing members with ongoing access to expert advice, product updates, and peer collaboration opportunities.

For ICAI members, the partnership means stronger opportunities to enhance skills and better serve clients. For Tally Solutions, it reinforces its relationship with the CA community—an essential contributor to SME compliance and growth across the UAE.
