SpeakUp Secures On-Air Investment in Final Episode of OSN’s The Final Pitch Dubai

SpeakUp reached a milestone moment on The Final Pitch Dubai, airing on OSN. In the season’s final episode on 15 December, the Dubai-based AI matching platform became the only startup to receive a live investment offer. One of the investor judges presented the founders with a SAFE agreement during the broadcast.

Once the founders left the stage, judges discussed the company’s outlook. Several pointed to SpeakUp’s growth rate, ability to scale, and the size of the market it serves, noting its potential to grow into a large regional business.

SpeakUp tackles a common issue in the events and media sectors. Organisers often lack a single system to request speakers, manage applications, communicate, and confirm bookings. Instead, they rely on separate tools and informal messaging. SpeakUp replaces this with one structured platform.

Through the app, organisers post events or speaker requests. Speakers apply in one step. All applications appear in one dashboard. Both sides communicate through built-in chat, and confirmed bookings sync with an integrated calendar. This removes manual steps and reduces missed communication.

Beyond speaker matching, SpeakUp offers the Growth Marketplace. This feature connects users to discounted services such as podcast studios, venues, photographers, videographers, editors, and PR teams. All partners go through a verification process. This allows the platform to support full event and media production workflows across MENA.

Since filming concluded in May 2025, SpeakUp has grown at speed and now ranks among the region’s fastest-growing event technology platforms. After the programme aired, the company also secured backing from a Dubai-based venture fund through direct discussions.

Investors in the UAE and the UK now estimate SpeakUp’s valuation at between 50 and 60 million US dollars. This reflects strong adoption and market demand. The platform has passed 60,000 downloads, registered 41,000 users, and completed more than 1,300 speaker bookings across over 30 countries.

As it continues to scale, SpeakUp is positioning itself as a core digital tool for talent, events, and media teams across the region. The company remains focused on building practical infrastructure for a growing market.
