Samsung Electronics has unveiled the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, a new tablet designed to make productivity, creativity and entertainment more accessible to a wider audience.

The device, announced on Thursday, combines a 10.9-inch display, bundled S Pen, intelligent features and AI-powered tools in a lightweight and affordable package. It will be available worldwide from 5 September in three colours: grey, silver and coral red.

Changtae Kim, EVP & Head of New Computing R&D Team, Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, said the tablet was built to be “a reliable companion” for everyday life. “We designed it to empower users to get more out of every moment, whether in class, at work, or during downtime,” he added.

Display and performance

The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite features a 10.9-inch display with Vision Booster technology, peak brightness of up to 600 nits, and reduced blue light for comfortable long viewing sessions. A faster processor and increased memory allow smoother performance when switching between apps or browsing multiple tabs.

Its 8,000mAh battery is paired with Super-Fast Charging, enabling extended use without frequent recharges, making it suited for streaming, studying or working on the move.

Productivity and creativity

Samsung has equipped the device with several intelligent features to support study, work and creative pursuits. The in-box S Pen enables precise note-taking and sketching, while Samsung Notes offers handwriting recognition, instant equation solving and PDF markup tools.

Multitasking is supported by Split View, allowing users to take notes while following a lecture or annotate documents while referencing images. AI integration is central, with Circle to Search with Google providing on-screen translation and discovery, and the Galaxy AI Key offering quick access to assistance via the Book Cover Keyboard.

Third-party apps and exclusive offers

The tablet supports a wide range of creative and productivity apps. These include preloaded or recommended tools such as Goodnotes, Clip Studio Paint, LumaFusion, Notion and Sketchbook.

Samsung is also offering promotional benefits: a one-year full version of Goodnotes, a six-month free trial of Clip Studio Paint with discounted subscription, a reduced-price package for LumaFusion, and trial access to Notion AI.

Market positioning

The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite targets students, professionals and casual users who want versatile functionality without the premium price tag of Samsung’s flagship tablets. With its mix of AI-driven tools, S Pen integration, and cross-device compatibility across the Galaxy ecosystem, the model is expected to appeal to users seeking both value and flexibility.
