Samsung Gulf Electronics hosted a hands-on workshop under the theme “Coding in Action: Artificial Intelligence & Robotics” as part of UAE Codes 2025 at Coders HQ, Emirates Towers. The session strengthened Samsung’s ongoing collaboration with the National Program for Coders and highlighted the company’s commitment to advancing digital education and youth skill development in the UAE.
Participants learned how coding and AI work together to create intelligent robotic systems. Students from the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) applied these concepts directly, constructing and programming both face recognition robots and autonomous line-tracking devices, gaining practical experience in emerging technology fields.
The initiative aligns with the UAE’s AI Strategy 2031, supporting national objectives to prepare young people with the competencies required for the future of work in the AI and data sectors.
Samsung Innovation Campus, a core part of Samsung’s global CSR commitment, continues to offer comprehensive STEM-focused training across the GCC, helping bridge the gap between academic study and technology-driven careers.
With initiatives like UAE Codes and Samsung Innovation Campus, Samsung continues to encourage the development of young innovators who will contribute to the UAE’s digital future. The collaboration with the National Program for Coders reinforces a shared belief in the power of technology and education to drive sustainable growth.
“UAE Codes” Day is observed annually on 29 October, following the directive of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The date commemorates the launch of the region’s first e-government on 29 October 2001, marking a milestone in the UAE’s digital evolution.
In 2023, UNESCO recognised 29 October as the International Day of Coding, acknowledging the UAE’s global leadership in advancing programming and supporting innovation.
