Athletes from Heroes of Hope, the UAE’s dedicated sports organisation for people of determination, have helped bring a burst of creativity to the DP World Tour Championship by putting the finishing details on a striking mural at the Earth Lounge in Jumeirah Golf Estates.
Ahead of play commencing on Thursday, athletes Noah Evans, Thomas O’Brien and Marwan Al Khaja collaborated with local abstract artist Rabab Tantawy to complete the vibrant artwork positioned beside the 16th green, offering a bold visual welcome for spectators.
Tantawy’s signature style — which blends traditional oil painting with contemporary spray techniques — delivers a refreshed artistic feel to the Earth Lounge as the championship prepares to crown its 2025 victor between 13 and 16 November.
For the Heroes of Hope athletes, the mural session was a meaningful milestone. They have been participating in golf lessons at the Tommy Fleetwood Academy as part of an ongoing collaboration between the DP World Tour and Heroes of Hope, aimed at fostering accessible and inclusive engagement within the sport.
This week, the group will take part in their concluding lesson with one of the leading Race to Dubai contenders, marking a memorable finale to their coaching journey as they immerse themselves in the excitement of championship week at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
