Orange Jordan is reinforcing its leadership in digital inclusion with a new initiative focused on empowering persons with disabilities. As part of its umbrella programme, “Differently Abled, Definitely Enabled,” the telecom company recently supported a specialized training session titled “The Art of Dialogue Management” for visually impaired individuals.

Held at the Orange Digital Village in partnership with Al-Ataa Club Sport for the Blind, the training brought together over 20 participants with visual impairments. The event aimed to build participants’ understanding of disability rights, particularly those related to visual impairments, while addressing key psychological and social challenges.

Through a series of interactive sessions, the training highlighted the importance of using inclusive and respectful language and promoted a culture of open and constructive dialogue. Organizers also emphasized the value of cooperation, mutual support, and the shared responsibility of building a more equitable society.

In a unique digital twist, the program included the development of digital awareness campaigns. Notably, 20% of the participants were selected to co-create podcast content with expert producers, allowing them to share their perspectives and messages through innovative media formats.

Orange Jordan stated that its involvement in the training reflects its wider mission to promote social and digital inclusion. “Empowering persons with disabilities is central to our commitment to equality and community development,” the company said in a statement. “By offering meaningful opportunities for participation, we aim to build a more inclusive, tolerant, and just society.”

The initiative further cements Orange Jordan’s reputation as a socially responsible digital leader. With a growing list of programmes aimed at improving access and participation for persons with disabilities, the company continues to invest in sustainable solutions that foster real community impact.

This recent training joins a broader portfolio of initiatives under Orange Jordan’s CSR agenda, which includes skill-building workshops, digital literacy programmes, and accessible technology projects. These efforts are designed not only to support individuals with disabilities but also to enhance their contributions to the workforce and public life.

As Jordan continues to prioritise inclusive development, collaborations like this one between Orange Jordan and local community organisations stand out as essential efforts in driving long-term change. For participants in “The Art of Dialogue Management,” the experience was more than a workshop — it was a step toward empowerment, visibility, and greater social integration.
