InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort has announced a special package designed for Saudi Arabian residents to mark Saudi National Day, offering an island escape with tailored benefits, dining upgrades, and family-friendly activities.

Located on the tranquil Raa Atoll, the resort has positioned itself as a luxury getaway for families, couples, groups, and solo travellers. The promotion includes a complimentary upgrade to Half Board, access to Club InterContinental privileges, and free stays for children. For guests planning extended stays, the resort is offering additional savings on transfers and meals, as well as daily resort credit.

Seamless Journey from Saudi Arabia to the Maldives

Travellers from Saudi Arabia can expect a smooth start to their holiday. After arriving at Velana International Airport in Malé, guests are welcomed into InterContinental’s private lounge before boarding a 35-minute seaplane journey to the resort. Those staying four nights or more can benefit from 30% savings on seaplane transfers.

Arabic-speaking staff are on site, along with an Island Curator and 24-hour e-Curator service, to ensure a personalised and effortless experience for Saudi guests.

Villas and Residences with a View

Accommodation options include opulent villas and private residences, each with its own pool and premium Byredo amenities. Couples may favour the Sunset Overwater Pool Villa, while larger families can opt for the Three Bedroom Lagoon Pool Residence. All units are designed to offer privacy, space, and panoramic ocean views.

Dining and Family Activities

Guests begin the day with breakfast on the beach at Café Umi before exploring an extensive range of complimentary non-motorised water sports such as sailing, windsurfing, and paddleboarding. Children can take part in games, crafts, and island adventures at the Planet Trekkers Kids’ Club.

Club InterContinental benefits extend the experience with afternoon tea, evening aperitifs, and complimentary poolside refreshments. Dinner is also included, with options ranging from fresh seafood at the Fish Market to elevated dining with panoramic views at The Lighthouse.

Special Savings and Added Perks

Travellers who stay four nights or more will receive a 30% discount on meal plans, while those booking directly for seven nights or longer gain USD 50 in daily resort credit. Additional inclusions range from bicycles for exploring the island to a complimentary 30-minute photoshoot.

A Celebration of Saudi National Day

In unveiling the offer, the resort emphasised its commitment to creating an exceptional experience for Saudi residents looking to celebrate their national day abroad. With tailored services, luxury amenities, and family-friendly programming, the InterContinental Maldives aims to combine cultural hospitality with island adventure.

Booking Details

The package is available until 23 December 2025. Terms specify that children aged 12 and above will be charged as adults.

More information and reservations are available directly through the InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort website.
