LG Launches Smart Dehumidifier to Tackle UAE Humidity

As temperatures soar across the UAE this summer, rising humidity is becoming a daily challenge for residents—leaving homes feeling sticky, damaging furniture, and encouraging mold growth. In response, LG Electronics has introduced the LG Smart Dehumidifier, a tech-forward appliance designed to maintain comfort, protect indoor spaces, and improve air quality.

Capable of extracting up to 30 litres of moisture per day—equivalent to 120 bottles of water (250ml each)—the LG Smart Dehumidifier is tailored to handle the intense dampness common in the Gulf region’s peak summer months.

Smart, powerful, and energy-efficient

Central to the dehumidifier’s performance is LG’s Dual Inverter Compressor, which intelligently adjusts its operation based on real-time humidity levels. This means it can deliver precise moisture control while keeping energy consumption low, offering relief not just from humidity but from high electricity bills as well.

Despite its powerful capacity, the device is surprisingly quiet, operating at just 33 decibels, making it ideal for bedrooms, living areas, or any space where peace and quiet are preferred.

Remote control with LG ThinQ™

One of the standout features is its smart connectivity via LG ThinQ™, which allows users to control and monitor the dehumidifier through a smartphone app. Homeowners can schedule operations, track energy usage, and receive alerts when the water bucket is full—all from the convenience of their phone.

This level of remote functionality ensures homes stay dry and comfortable, even when residents are away during the day or on holiday.

User-friendly design for everyday living

Designed with aesthetics and practicality in mind, the LG Smart Dehumidifier features a sleek, modern build that blends seamlessly into any interior. Its Push and Pull Handle and 360-degree rotating wheels make it easy to move from room to room, while the transparent water tank offers clear visibility of water levels.

The unit also comes equipped with versatile accessories, including a Shoe Dry Y-hose and Closet Dry T-hose, making it easy to target smaller, moisture-prone spaces such as wardrobes and shoe racks.

A comprehensive solution for a regional challenge

For homes in the UAE, where humidity is a recurring summer struggle, the LG Smart Dehumidifier represents more than just another appliance. It’s a comprehensive home solution—reducing moisture levels, preserving furniture, safeguarding health, and offering intelligent control in one compact device.

With its combination of powerful performance, smart features, and energy efficiency, LG’s latest offering redefines how residents can manage indoor environments during the region’s most demanding months.

This summer, LG invites UAE homeowners to take back control of their comfort—dry air, cleaner spaces, and quieter living start here.
