Pop singer Jason Derulo Abu Dhabi will perform at the closing ceremony of the 30th Dubai World Cup on March 28, 2026, at Meydan Racecourse, organizers announced. He will take the stage after the day’s horse racing events, including the $12 million main race. The total prize pool across nine races is $30.5 million.

The concert is included with race tickets, allowing fans to enjoy live entertainment immediately after the final race. Jason Derulo Abu Dhabi returns to Dubai after performing in the region, including at the 2024 Soundstorm festival in Riyadh.

Derulo has sold over 250 million singles worldwide and remains a regular on radio and streaming platforms. His breakout hit in 2009, Whatcha Say, was followed by In My Head, Ridin’ Solo, Wiggle, Swalla, and Savage Love, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and reached number one in several countries. The UK chart-topper Don’t Wanna Go Home continues to feature in his live shows. Fans attending the event can expect Jason Derulo Abu Dhabi to perform many of these hits live.

The Dubai concert is part of The Last Dance World Tour, which covers more than 25 arena dates across the UK and Europe. Derulo recently released The Last Dance (Part 1). A second installment will arrive later this year, featuring the singles Sexy For Me and a reworked version of Avril Lavigne’s Complicated. This stop marks another highlight in the Jason Derulo Abu Dhabi tour appearances in the region.

Since 1996, the Dubai World Cup has paired elite horse racing with live music. Past performers include Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson, Kylie Minogue, Gwen Stefani, and Christina Aguilera. Last year’s closing ceremony set three Guinness World Records, including the largest flying LED screen formed by 5,983 drones and the largest aerial trophy image created by drones.

Organizers say featuring top music acts alongside racing increases the event’s international appeal. It draws global audiences and boosts tourism, reinforcing Dubai as a destination for both sports and cultural events.

Derulo’s performance highlights the World Cup’s strategy of combining high-stakes racing with entertainment. Spectators will enjoy a full day of sport and music, while Dubai continues to showcase itself as a global stage for world-class events.
