HyBotX and FasterCapital Team Up to Boost Endurance of Humanoid Robots for Extreme Environments

Rockville, USA & Dubai, UAE – HyBotX, a startup specializing in hybrid-power solutions for humanoid robots, has partnered with venture builder FasterCapital to extend the operational runtime of ruggedized outdoor robots. The collaboration, announced on December 22, 2025, aims to deploy HyBotX’s hybrid-power modules across defense, industrial, agricultural, and disaster-response applications globally.

The partnership addresses a persistent limitation in the humanoid robotics sector: energy constraints. Most battery-powered robots operate for just two to three hours, restricting their use in heavy-duty, remote, or extreme-environment missions. HyBotX’s hybrid module, which combines an internal combustion engine with a high-density lithium-ion battery and optional supercapacitors, enables continuous operation of eight to twelve hours and supports sustained power loads of up to three kilowatts in temperatures ranging from −20°C to 60°C. Rapid refueling takes under two minutes, allowing field deployments without reliance on fixed charging infrastructure.

Nil Singh, CEO of HyBotX, said the technology “unlocks new missions for humanoid robots: multi-day inspections, remote disaster response, and heavy industrial tasks.” The hybrid system is designed for integration with ROS2 and NVIDIA Isaac platforms, making it adaptable for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) seeking rugged, high-endurance robots. Early milestones include two patent filings, 3D CAD modeling, and virtual performance validation.

FasterCapital’s EquityPilot program will provide funding, mentorship, and business development support to accelerate prototype completion and pilot deployments. Hesham Zreik, CEO of FasterCapital, highlighted the strategic value of the partnership: “HyBotX addresses a foundational constraint for humanoid adoption — reliable, long-duration power — and we expect the EquityPilot engagement to fast-track pilots with defense and industrial partners.”

The collaboration comes amid projections that the global humanoid robotics market could reach several billion dollars by 2030. Analysts cite power limitations and the need for infrastructure-independent solutions as key barriers to adoption. By extending operational endurance, HyBotX seeks to make humanoid robots practical for high-risk and resource-intensive environments such as mining sites, construction zones, and border security operations.

Over the next 12–18 months, HyBotX plans to finalize prototype testing, conduct field validation in extreme outdoor conditions, and integrate its hybrid modules with OEM platforms. The company is seeking $200,000 in pre-seed funding to complete hardware and software integration and intends to launch a seed round in 2026 to scale production and commercial pilots. Longer-term goals include licensing the technology and offering power-as-a-service contracts for industrial and defense applications.

Founded in 2025, HyBotX operates from Rockville, Maryland, and focuses on hybrid-power modules that enhance humanoid robot endurance. FasterCapital, established in 2014, is a global venture builder supporting startups through funding, technical guidance, and business development programs.
