Huawei has introduced a new generation of smart devices at its Innovative Product Launch event in Paris, themed “Ride the Wind”. The line-up features wearables, smartphones, and tablets, blending high-fashion design with health, fitness, and creativity tools. Alongside the products, Huawei also unveiled its refreshed “Now is Yours” brand message and announced the global launch of the GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity 2025.

Advanced wearables

The flagship of the showcase, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series, brings an extended 21-day battery life and advanced outdoor positioning through the new TruSense System. Designed with athletes and outdoor enthusiasts in mind, the GT 6 expands on over 100 workout modes, with major upgrades to cycling, trail running, golf, and skiing. Cycling enthusiasts will benefit from a virtual power meter, while golfers gain access to high-definition fairway maps.

Also introduced was the WATCH Ultimate 2, claimed to be the world’s first smartwatch capable of withstanding dives up to 150 metres. The device features sonar-based underwater messaging for diver-to-diver communication and a one-touch SOS system for added safety.

The WATCH D2, released in a striking new Blue variant, focuses on blood pressure management with individual and ambulatory monitoring, complemented by customisable reminders for users managing health conditions.

Smartphone with portrait power

Huawei also revealed the nova 14 Series, designed to raise standards in mobile photography. Equipped with an Ultra Chroma Camera and the enhanced XD Portrait Engine, the device is built to deliver clarity and depth in challenging low-light environments. The 50MP front camera introduces a 5x portrait zoom and dual auto-focus, while AI-powered editing tools such as AI Best Expression and AI Remove provide users with professional-level post-processing on the go.

Creativity and productivity tools

The HUAWEI MatePad 12 X PaperMatte Edition and the upgraded M-Pencil Pro are aimed at students, professionals, and creators seeking paperless productivity. The tablet’s PaperMatte display minimises glare for comfortable long-term use, while the stylus introduces radial menus, quick access to notes, and intuitive brush-switching features.

GoPaint 2025 competition

Beyond hardware, Huawei launched the GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity 2025, encouraging young digital artists to participate in categories ranging from narrative art to sci-fi painting. A new Animation category has been added this year, reflecting growing creative trends.

Youth-focused vision

In line with the launches, Huawei rolled out its refreshed brand proposition, “Now is Yours”. The initiative is intended to resonate with young global consumers, building cultural and emotional connections by embedding technology more seamlessly into daily life.

Huawei stated its ambition to make innovation both inclusive and human-centred, underlining its strategy to deepen dialogue with youth culture while fostering creativity and collaboration.

The Paris showcase underlines Huawei’s determination to maintain a strong presence in consumer technology, positioning its products at the intersection of style, innovation, and well-being.
