A new programme aims to boost children’s strength and fitness

When it comes to fitness, age is not a factor. The team at Vogue Fitness know this, which is why they have launched a CrossFit Kids programme for children aged six to 13. CrossFit is billed as the sport of fitness, and combines strength and conditioning elements.

Billy Graham, co-founder and director of the centre, says, “This is a fun and interactive programme designed for children. The emphasis is on building strength, increasing a child’s physical capacity and educating them on why they are doing the activities.

“The kids will be doing a variety of exercises such as lifting things, jumping, squatting and running.”

Parents can share the experience with their kids by signing up to an adult CrossFit class scheduled at the same time.

From AED 80.  Yas Marina. Sat 9am-9.45am for kids aged six to nine, 9.45am-10.30am for kids aged ten to 13.
