Etihad Airways has once again been recognised as a Five-Star Global Airline by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) for 2026, following direct feedback from passengers.

The announcement was made on 11 September at the APEX/IFSA Awards Ceremony during the global expo in Long Beach, California. The accolade is based on ratings from almost one million flights across nearly 600 airlines, with results verified by an independent auditing firm.

Arik De, Etihad’s Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer, said:

“We are incredibly proud to be recognised once again as a Five-Star Global Airline. This honour is particularly meaningful as it comes directly from our guests, whose trust and loyalty inspire us every day.”

The airline continues to expand its network and enhance its cabins, from The Residence three-room suite to upgraded First, Business, and Economy products.

Etihad has also introduced the Airbus A321LR, which redefines single-aisle travel with First Suites featuring sliding doors, lie-flat Business seats, and next-generation Economy cabins. Passengers benefit from high-speed Wi-Fi, 4K touchscreens, and Etihad’s award-winning inflight entertainment.

The recognition highlights Etihad’s ongoing efforts to combine innovation with Emirati hospitality, ensuring a consistent five-star experience across all routes.
