Emirates Serves Up “Fly Better” Experience at Wimbledon

Emirates is marking its return as the Official Airline Partner of The Championships, Wimbledon, with a suite of exclusive experiences for tennis fans both in the skies and on the ground. Running from 30th June to 13th July 2025, the airline’s involvement brings a fresh serve of luxury, interactivity, and themed hospitality to one of the world’s most iconic sporting events.

Onboard Emirates flights between Dubai and the UK, passengers are being treated to bespoke Wimbledon-inspired menus, including Pimm’s cocktails, strawberry mocktails, and strawberries and cream in the A380 Onboard Lounge. Premium cabin travellers can enjoy gourmet dishes such as panko-crusted lamb cutlets, and desserts topped with Championships-themed cake toppers. Special Emirates x Wimbledon towels, created in partnership with Christy, the event’s official towel supplier, are also being gifted to First Class passengers.

Passengers in Economy and Premium Economy will enjoy a range of strawberry-themed treats, including mousse, panna cotta, tarts, and cheesecakes, while visitors to the First Class Lounge in Dubai will be offered Sipsmith cocktails, classic British dishes like fish and chips, and strawberry profiteroles.

On the ground at Wimbledon, Emirates is activating its “Emirates Experience” stand, offering fans interactive challenges, premium giveaways, and the opportunity to win a trip to Dubai with Emirates Holidays. A new twist this year also sees younger fans able to explore Wimbleworld on Roblox, where they can play on Emirates-branded virtual courts and compete in the Emirates Cup for digital rewards.

“Our goal is to bring the spirit of our ‘Fly Better’ promise to life in every arena we support, and Wimbledon is no exception,” said an Emirates spokesperson. “This year, we’re celebrating sport, summer, and signature service in equal measure.”

Throughout The Championships, matches will be screened live in Emirates Lounges across Dubai and the UK. Passengers can also stream matches inflight via Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra, part of the airline’s award-winning ‘ice’ entertainment system. Wimbledon documentaries, official films, and tennis-themed features are also available.

Fans can take home a piece of the action with limited-edition merchandise, including branded A380 models, Wimbledon-themed apparel, and Christy towels, available online and at the Emirates Official Store.

Emirates’ sponsorships in the UK extend well beyond tennis. The airline is a major partner of Arsenal FC, the Emirates FA Cup, Lancashire Cricket, and SailGP, as well as Emirates Old Trafford.

Earlier this year, Emirates and The All England Lawn Tennis Club also launched ‘Championing Nature’, a multi-million-pound initiative in partnership with four Wildlife Trusts aimed at connecting urban communities with local green spaces.

Currently, Emirates operates 133 weekly flights to the UK, connecting eight cities with global destinations across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Australasia.
