Comera Financial Holdings, a member of Abu Dhabi’s Royal Group, and SC Ventures have entered into a strategic collaboration through a signed memorandum of understanding. The agreement focuses on developing financial solutions that support SMEs and align with the UAE’s wider economic goals.

The partnership will explore solutions designed for corporates that work closely with SME networks. Areas under review include supply chain finance, improved access to working capital, and tailored funding models for specific sectors. By combining Comera’s digital finance platforms with SC Ventures’ knowledge of venture development and credit analysis, the organisations aim to support business stability and growth.

In addition to product development, the parties will consider broader forms of cooperation. These may include joint investment activity, shared development of new financial structures, and collaboration across selected initiatives. This approach aims to encourage steady innovation and practical outcomes for the market.

Akhtar Saeed Hashmi, Managing Director & Group CEO of Comera Financial Holdings, stated:
“This collaboration marks an important step in our mission to build forward-looking financial infrastructure for the UAE. By working with SC Ventures, we aim to introduce innovative, digitally powered financing models that support the growth ambitions of SMEs and large corporates alike.”

Alex Manson, CEO of Standard Chartered Ventures, commented:
“At SC Ventures we build businesses that solve real problems. Partnering with Comera allows us to co-create digital infrastructure that gives SMEs the tools, insights and access they need to thrive in an innovation-led economy”.

Comera Financial Holdings and SC Ventures will continue discussions to assess the scope of the collaboration and define next steps. Updates will be shared as the partnership develops.
