Al Habtoor Grand unveils reimagined pool bar

Al Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection, has reopened its fully redesigned Al Sama Pool Bar, introducing a contemporary swim-up concept that blends tropical charm with modern luxury.

The refreshed venue, set at the edge of the resort’s pool, offers guests the chance to sip cocktails and enjoy light bites while relaxing in the water. Inspired by its name — “Al Sama,” meaning “sky” in Arabic — the space is designed as an open-air retreat, inviting visitors to unwind beneath the Dubai skyline.

Elevated outdoor experience

The redesign aims to create an inclusive space for all types of visitors, whether solo travellers, couples or families. With soft background music, a relaxed atmosphere and a versatile food and beverage menu, the bar is intended as a new focal point for the resort’s poolside experience.

“Al Sama offers a refreshing take on outdoor leisure,” the resort said in a statement. “It is about creating memorable moments in a setting that combines natural beauty with modern comforts.”

Menu highlights

The new summer menu caters to a range of preferences, from fresh salads and wraps to burgers and sharing platters. Healthy options sit alongside comfort food, with smoothies, mocktails and a variety of cocktails designed to complement the poolside setting.

The bar is open throughout the day, serving breakfast smoothies, light lunches and evening drinks. Guests are encouraged to stay from morning to sunset, making use of the resort’s pool facilities while enjoying the new menu.

Pool access offer

Alongside the reopening, Al Habtoor Grand has launched an exclusive summer pool access offer. Visitors can enjoy the pool and bar experience on weekdays for AED 200 or weekends for AED 300 per person. The fee is fully redeemable against food and beverage purchases, and children aged 5 to 15 receive complimentary access.

The resort hopes the offer will appeal to both residents and tourists seeking a premium daycation experience in Dubai.

A family-friendly retreat

While swim-up bars are typically associated with adult leisure, the resort emphasises that Al Sama is designed as a family-friendly venue. With a mix of seating areas, light entertainment and a varied menu, it aims to provide an atmosphere that caters to all guests.

Repositioning leisure in Dubai

The relaunch reflects a wider trend in Dubai’s hospitality sector, where hotels are increasingly investing in distinctive leisure experiences to attract both local residents and international travellers. By combining lifestyle-oriented design with flexible dining options, Al Habtoor Grand is positioning itself to stand out in the city’s competitive luxury market.

The resort, a long-standing fixture in Dubai Marina, continues to develop new offerings as part of its strategy to enhance guest experience and reinforce its identity within the Autograph Collection.
