Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the capital’s first low-cost carrier, has announced the launch of direct flights connecting Abu Dhabi and Assiut, Egypt, starting November 4, 2025. The new route will operate twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Fridays, providing passengers with convenient and affordable travel between Zayed International Airport and Assiut International Airport.

The schedule is as follows (all times local):

With Assiut added to its network, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi now connects the UAE capital with three Egyptian cities, alongside Cairo and Alexandria.

Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, said:

“We are pleased to launch our newest service to Assiut, extending our reach into Upper Egypt directly from the UAE capital. This addition strengthens our network between the UAE and Egypt, offering customers more convenient and affordable options to travel between the two countries.”

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi currently operates a modern fleet of 12 Airbus A320 aircraft, serving more than 30 international destinations. The airline plans to further expand its network and fleet capacity before the end of 2025.

Passengers can enjoy value-added services onboard, including SkyTime, a free in-flight streaming service, and SkyCafe, offering affordable dining options. The carrier also runs Air Rewards, its loyalty programme that allows members to earn, transfer, and redeem points.

Bookings for the new Abu Dhabi–Assiut route are now open via Air Arabia’s website, call centre, and partner travel agencies.
