Dubai Set To Hold Women-Only T100 Event On 2026 Triathlon World Tour

Dubai will host a women-only professional T100 race from 12–15 November 2026, following confirmation from the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) and World Triathlon. The event marks a clear step for women’s sport in the Middle East.

The Dubai T100 will bring the world’s leading female triathletes to the city for a 100km race made up of a 2km swim, 80km bike leg and 18km run. The field will race without a men’s event on the same programme, giving full focus to the women’s competition.

The updated 2026 tour format aims to give athletes a schedule with fewer clashes, higher prize earnings per event and longer preparation windows. These changes allow athletes to organise their year in a more practical way.

Amateur athletes will also have a place at the Dubai T100. The PTO will run open-entry events across the weekend, including the full 100km distance and shorter single-discipline races. These are designed for both experienced age-group athletes and newcomers.

Dubai joins Gold Coast, Spain and Vancouver as women’s T100 hosts for 2026. Men’s professional races will take place in Singapore, San Francisco, the French Riviera and Saudi Arabia. Both men’s and women’s fields will come together for the Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final in December 2026.

“We are thrilled that Dubai will host a professional women’s T100 race in 2026 alongside the full range of amateur events it has built up over the last two years,” said Sam Renouf, PTO CEO. “This format puts the spotlight firmly on our incredible pro women, giving them the platform they deserve to showcase their extraordinary abilities. Dubai has proven itself as a world-class destination for triathlon, and we are excited to see the world’s best women compete in this iconic city. The new streamlined calendar means athletes can focus on delivering their best performances, and we expect the racing in Dubai to be spectacular.”

The PTO announced the 2026 structure in October as part of its work to support athlete welfare and improve the standard of racing. The changes remove long-term appearance contracts and give each athlete more time to recover between events.

The Dubai T100 will maintain its role as a mass-participation weekend. The PTO will offer varied entry options so that both committed triathletes and first-timers can take part while sharing the event with the world’s top female athletes.

The full 2026 T100 Race To Qatar calendar:
