SIBEC 2025 begins today in Abu Dhabi, gathering leaders and delegates from around the world to examine how smart technologies are elevating safety and quality of life throughout the UAE. The event, hosted by SIBCA, carries the theme “Smart Solutions for Safer Communities.”

SIBCA, a major provider of fire, life safety, and ICT systems in the UAE and wider region—including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, and Egypt—has announced the commencement of SIBEC 2025 at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi. The event brings together high-level fire and safety professionals, innovators, and global participants committed to shaping the next era of smart, resilient communities.

Spanning two days, SIBEC 2025 is designed to support collaboration, industry engagement, and the showcasing of pioneering concepts. Framed around the theme “Smart Solutions for Safer Communities,” the event will spotlight the most recent advancements in Fire & Life Safety, HVAC, Building Management Systems (BMS), Extra Low Voltage (ELV), Audio-Visual (AV), Lighting, ICT, and IoT. The programme examines how integrated smart technologies can enhance community safety, streamline operations, and promote long-term sustainability.

Keynote speakers will include Ibrahim Lari, Chairman and CEO of SIBCA; Mike Brunzell, Vice President of Global Business Development at The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA); and Jared Conrad, Director at UL Solutions. Their sessions will explore themes such as empowering communities through smart solutions, improving protection for buildings under construction, and the digital evolution of buildings in the age of AI.

The UAE remains a regional leader in AI-driven transformation, with Abu Dhabi setting ambitious standards for advanced infrastructure and digital future-readiness. Supported by 35 strategic partners—including NFPA, UL Solutions, Emirates Safety Laboratories (ESL), Johnson Controls, Siemens, Carrier, Huawei, and Honeywell—SIBEC 2025 offers a curated agenda tailored to the needs of a rapidly developing industry.

Drawing more than 1,000 participants and benefiting from extensive public-sector engagement, SIBEC 2025 is positioned as a premier regional platform for industry collaboration and global connectivity, fostering partnerships that will influence the future of safety and smart technologies across the Middle East.
