ALTAWKILAT Motorsport, the motorsport division of ALTAWKILAT, has officially confirmed the return of the F4 Saudi Arabian Championship with a five-round FIA-certified calendar set between October and December 2025.

Launched in 2024 under the authority of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF), the F4 Saudi Arabian Championship is the Kingdom’s first and only FIA-sanctioned single-seater national series. It provides an affordable, professional entry point for young drivers transitioning from karting into single-seater racing.

The 2025 season begins with two back-to-back rounds at Bahrain International Circuit: the opening test and race weekend on October 10–12, followed by the second round on October 15–16. The championship then moves to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, the world’s fastest street circuit, for three further rounds in November and December.

Featuring up to 20 drivers in identical Tatuus Abarth F4 G2 (T421) cars, the championship ensures that skill and racecraft are the decisive factors. Open to drivers aged 15 and above, F4 Saudi Arabia provides a direct pathway to Formula 3 and higher categories on the FIA’s global racing ladder.

Beyond racing, the series also plays a pivotal role in developing local motorsport expertise, offering career opportunities for Saudi engineers, mechanics, race officials, and event managers.

Eng. Mansour Al-Moqbel, Acting CEO of SAMF and CEO of Saudi Motorsport Company, said:

“The return of Formula 4 this year reflects the Federation’s efforts to support and develop motorsport, and to strengthen its position locally and regionally. It is a strategic platform to empower Saudi youth, allowing them to hone their skills and become the drivers of the future.”

Mohammed S. Abduljawad, Chairman & CEO of ALTAWKILAT, added:

“With five exciting rounds planned in Bahrain and Jeddah, we are thrilled to build on the foundations of our inaugural season. Our goal is to help young Saudi drivers and up-and-coming professionals reach their full potential, while positioning the Kingdom as a regional hub for world-class motorsport in line with Vision 2030.”

F4 Saudi Arabian Championship 2025 Calendar:

  • Round 1: Oct 10–12 – Bahrain International Circuit (incl. Test Day Oct 10)
  • Round 2: Oct 15–16 – Bahrain International Circuit
  • Round 3: Nov 10–11 – Jeddah Corniche Circuit
  • Round 4: Nov 14–15 – Jeddah Corniche Circuit
  • Round 5: Dec 5–6 – Jeddah Corniche Circuit

Since its inception in 2014, FIA Formula 4 has been recognized as the first official rung of single-seater racing, with past graduates including current F1 stars Lando Norris, George Russell, and Oscar Piastri.

The return of the F4 Saudi Arabian Championship strengthens the Kingdom’s role as an emerging hub for motorsport talent and innovation, while expanding opportunities for Saudi youth both on and off the track.
