Orange Jordan has hosted a specialized job fair for young programmers graduating from its Orange Digital Center’s coding programs, offering a vital bridge between emerging tech talent and employment opportunities in the local market. The event, held under the supervision of the Digital Skills Association, brought together several companies and organizations keen to tap into a pool of newly trained developers.

The initiative was supported by the Youth, Technology, and Jobs (DigiSkills) program under Jordan’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, and by Proparco, the investment arm of the French Development Agency (AFD).

The job fair served as a practical platform for direct interaction between graduates and potential employers in the fast-evolving technology sector, aiming to streamline hiring processes and enhance the job-readiness of graduates.

In a statement, Orange Jordan emphasized the significance of the event in supporting professional empowerment:

“We are proud to organize this job fair in partnership with DigiSkills and Proparco. It marks an important milestone in our commitment to connecting youth with real employment opportunities in a dynamic environment that enables direct interviews and hiring decisions.”

The event underscores Orange Jordan’s broader mission to support Jordan’s digital economy, empower youth, and reduce the gap between skills training and job market demands. The company has long been a leader in advancing digital inclusion and workforce development, with a focus on innovative and responsible solutions.

One key highlight is the success of the Orange Digital Center, which recently won first place in the second edition of the King Abdullah II Award for Volunteering under the category of profit institutions practicing corporate social responsibility. The award recognizes the center’s significant impact in providing free, high-quality training in programming and job readiness skills, creating pathways for youth to enter and thrive in the digital economy.

Participants at the fair included companies across various industries looking for tech-savvy talent in software development, data analytics, and IT support. The fair allowed recruiters to meet candidates face-to-face and conduct on-the-spot interviews, creating an immediate link between skills and job opportunities.

With the demand for digital skills in Jordan continuing to rise, such initiatives are seen as essential to equipping the next generation with market-relevant expertise. The job fair also aligns with national strategies to promote youth employment, digital transformation, and public-private partnerships that foster inclusive economic growth.

Through this initiative, Orange Jordan reinforces its role as a catalyst for youth empowerment and a trusted partner in the digital development of the country.
