Starwood Hotels & Resorts are serving up meals on wheels this Ramadan. Now in its fourth year, the Iftar for Cabs initiative sees taxi drivers head to participating hotels to pick up a parcel of food to break their fast.
On Tuesday 23rd July, taxi drivers will be alerted by SMS to head over to The Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort and Spa to pick up a meal from the main entrance of the hotel.
With more than 34 Starwood hotels participating across the region in this initiative, Shweta Dhumale, marketing manager, The Westin Golf Resort and Spa added, “It’s our way to reach out and say thank you to the cab drivers across the Middle East, who work tirelessly throughout the year to provide transportation services for our guests.”
