SeaWorld® Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, the world’s largest indoor marine life theme park, is diving into summer with the return of its vibrant Electric Ocean Festival. Running daily from 28 June to 31 August, the second edition of the festival promises immersive entertainment, neon-lit spectacles, and educational experiences for guests of all ages.

A core celebration of SeaWorld’s One Ocean story, the festival highlights humanity’s connection with the ocean, offering interactive experiences that blend entertainment with marine conservation.

Electrifying Entertainment and Immersive Experiences

Visitors will be welcomed with a high-energy pre-show party designed to warm up the crowd with music and dance, followed by a neon-lit main stage show featuring breakdancers, aerialists, live drummers, and glowing visuals at the heart of the One Ocean realm.

Also returning this year is the much-loved silent disco, where guests don wireless headphones and groove to their personal soundtrack, creating a unique, individual rhythm within a communal celebration.

Adding to the festive glow, the park is bringing back:

  • Glow-in-the-dark face painting to match the festival’s electric vibe
  • A neon art station where children can create underwater masterpieces that light up

Characters like Sakina, SeaStar, Puck, and Shivers will join the festivities in themed outfits, interacting with guests throughout the day.

A Festival With a Mission

Beyond the entertainment, the Electric Ocean Festival reflects SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s mission of education and conservation. Through engaging stories and hands-on activities, guests learn about the ocean’s critical role in sustaining life and are encouraged to become ocean advocates.

The festival is part of SeaWorld’s “Admission with a Mission” program, where every ticket contributes to the work of the Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Center, supporting marine life protection and rehabilitation.

Extended Summer Hours

To accommodate the expanded programming, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi will extend its operating hours to 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM daily during the festival.

With its blend of thrills, learning, and glowing memories, the Electric Ocean Festival transforms SeaWorld Abu Dhabi into a dynamic summer destination for families, travelers, and marine life enthusiasts alike.
