OMODA&JAECOO, the fastest-growing new automotive brand globally, has officially entered the German market with a major showcase at IAA Mobility 2025, highlighting its commitment to the fast-expanding New Energy Vehicle (NEV) sector.

The brand drew attention with a strong line-up, including the OMODA 5 BEV and the much-anticipated JAECOO J7 SHS (Super Hybrid System). Together, the vehicles represented a complete product offering across the battery electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) categories.

Spotlight on JAECOO J7 SHS

The JAECOO J7 SHS became the centrepiece of OMODA&JAECOO’s presentation, attracting acclaim for its advanced hybrid technology and positioning the model as a potential disruptor in the European automotive market. Following its successful debut in Germany, the J7 SHS is set to launch in the UAE in the coming months, further cementing the brand’s regional growth strategy.

In addition, OMODA confirmed that the C7 crossover will debut in the UAE before the end of the year, offering consumers greater choice in the expanding EV and hybrid vehicle segment.

Looking ahead: International User Summit 2025

Beyond the IAA showcase, OMODA&JAECOO is preparing for its International User Summit 2025, scheduled for October in China under the theme “CO-CREATE CO-DEFINE.” The summit will bring together users, media, dealers, and partners in a global co-creation initiative designed to strengthen brand-user collaboration.

The event will feature three flagship programmes:

  • NEXT SHOW: A technology exhibition featuring the OMODA 3 intelligent system, the OMODA 6 rugged-performance concept, and the new SNA architecture.
  • NEXT DRIVE: Interactive driving sessions, including intelligent parking feature tests and hybrid driving experiences with the OMODA 5 and JAECOO J5 HEV.
  • NEXT COOL: Lifestyle-focused experiences such as retail innovations, youth-oriented social spaces, and the JAECOO Festival Global Carnival Live Stream.

Beyond mobility

In a move that underscores its ambitions beyond automotive technology, OMODA&JAECOO will also introduce AiMOGA, a humanoid robot integrating artificial intelligence, robotics, and smart mobility. The company positions AiMOGA as part of its long-term vision of blending mobility with connected lifestyles.

Speaking ahead of the summit, Shawn Xu, CEO of OMODA&JAECOO Automobile International, said:

“The International User Summit is more than an event—it is our commitment to transforming users from product owners into ecosystem partners. Through co-creation in technology, design, and lifestyle, we aim to build a brand that evolves hand-in-hand with its users worldwide.”

Global ambitions

The parent company of OMODA&JAECOO recently climbed to 233rd on the 2025 Fortune Global 500 list. At the same time, its cumulative exports surpassed 5 million units, marking the significant Dual 500 milestone.

The achievement reflects the company’s globalisation strategy and growing recognition as a serious competitor in the international automotive market.

As the industry shifts towards sustainable transport and consumer-driven innovation, OMODA&JAECOO’s debut in Germany positions the brand as both a challenger and a trendsetter in the NEV space.
