Jaipur Rugs, the global name in handcrafted carpets, is weaving its way deeper into Dubai’s design and hospitality scene with flooring solutions that bring artistry and soul into modern living spaces.

Known for blending traditional Indian craftsmanship with contemporary design, the company is collaborating with architects, designers, and hoteliers across the city to transform interiors into immersive experiences. Its rugs and carpets now extend beyond private homes into boutique hotels, restaurants, and commercial hubs, creating warmth, texture, and identity in high-impact spaces.

Craft meets modern living

At the heart of Jaipur Rugs’ approach is its Trade & Hospitality Program, a service dedicated to tailoring flooring for spaces that need to balance beauty with durability. From bespoke artisanal rugs that tell a cultural story to wall-to-wall installations designed for bustling hotels, each project aims to enhance not only the look of a space but the way people feel within it.

“Dubai has established itself as a global hub for design and innovation,” said Yogesh Chaudhary, Managing Director of Jaipur Rugs. “Our role is to provide flooring that not only enhances the visual identity of a project but also delivers on performance and sustainability.”

Alserkal Avenue reimagined

This month, the brand reopened its flagship store at Alserkal Avenue, designed as both a gallery and a living laboratory for design lovers. The refreshed space invites visitors to walk across different textures, study intricate weaves up close, and see how rugs can change the atmosphere of a room.

The store doubles as a showcase of installation techniques and durability testing—bridging artistry with practical use. For design professionals, it provides a chance to experiment with customisation, colours, and patterns that fit into Dubai’s diverse architectural landscape.

Weaving tradition into modern Dubai

Every Jaipur Rug is rooted in India’s rich weaving heritage, crafted by artisans whose skills have been passed down through generations. Yet in Dubai, these rugs are finding new expression—on the floors of intimate boutique hotels, in the lobbies of towering commercial spaces, and in the homes of those seeking to combine comfort with craftsmanship.

With their mix of abstract, traditional, and modern designs, the rugs are as much a work of art as they are functional décor. The brand’s expansion in Dubai underscores a growing appreciation for handmade artistry in spaces where people gather, connect, and create memories.

For Chaudhary, the mission goes beyond business: “With every rug, we bring artisanal craftsmanship into modern commercial and hospitality settings. It’s about creating spaces that feel human, soulful, and lasting.”

Dubai’s design community is invited to explore Jaipur Rugs’ bespoke flooring solutions through its dedicated trade programme or by visiting the newly reopened Alserkal Avenue store.
