The Jafza Cup presented by We One is back and bigger than ever, with 64 corporate teams from across Jebel Ali Free Zone preparing to compete in Dubai’s largest corporate cricket tournament as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.

Hosted at the We One Community Cricket Ground in Mina Jebel Ali and organised by DP World, the month-long tournament takes place from 1 to 30 November 2025. It supports the Dubai Fitness Challenge’s annual call for everyone in the city to stay active for “30 minutes for 30 days”.

Celebrating its third edition, the Jafza Cup has quickly become a cornerstone of corporate sports culture in Dubai, strengthening camaraderie, boosting morale and showcasing the role of cricket as a unifying sport across diverse workplace communities.

Last year’s tournament saw DHL Express claim the trophy in a competitive field of 48 teams. This year’s extended format will see even more matches and greater participation, with teams competing throughout November before the champions are crowned.

The 2025 tournament was officially launched with a Captains’ Day at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 25 October, bringing together team representatives, event organisers, and partners in anticipation of the month of cricket ahead.

Abdulla Al Hashmi, COO – Parks & Zones, DP World GCC said: “The Jafza Cup has grown into the largest corporate cricket tournament in Dubai and this year’s record participation is a testament to the engagement and spirit of our business community. Beyond competition, it’s about teamwork, wellbeing and building stronger connections between colleagues and companies across the Free Zone.”

Ayoub Al Mulla, COO – We One, added: “We One is proud to host the Jafza Cup once again and to support Dubai Fitness Challenge in promoting active, healthy lifestyles. This tournament embodies the best of Dubai’s community spirit through a shared love of cricket.”

The Jafza Cup presented by We One underscores DP World’s long-standing commitment to community sport and its belief that physical activity drives productivity, wellbeing, and engagement in the workplace.

Each participating company fields a squad drawn from its own workforce, encouraging employees to represent their organisations both on and off the field.

The tournament also celebrates DP World’s global sports portfolio, which includes partnerships that champion accessibility and grassroots development in sport. DP World is also one of the partners of DFC 2025 and the title sponsor of the DP World Golf Tour and DP World Tour Championship, held from 13-16 November at Jumeirah Golf Estates.

In recognition of its community impact, the Jafza Cup was named Best Community Sports Event at the 2025 Sports Industry Awards (SPIAs), further cementing Dubai’s position as a regional hub for inclusive, large-scale sports events.
