Silkor see increased demand as UAE clamps down on unlicensed facilities

Silkor, the region’s largest laser medical center chain, participates at Najah 2011 in search of ‘exceptional’ new recruits

Silkor

Silkor has been looking for new recruits at the Najah 2011 careers, training and higher education exhibition, which attracts over 120 exhibitors and more than 18,000 visitors annually. The leading medico-aesthetic chain, founded in Beirut in 1997, expects to recruit an estimated 75 new staff members in the next 12 month period.

Medico-aesthetic laser technologies have become increasingly popular across the region in recent years, with increased demand to treat different skin conditions in an ever increasing array of services; including permanent hair removal, skin rejuvenation, slimming, and skin resurfacing procedures to treat wrinkles, stretch-marks, acne, scarring, and pigmentation problems. Recently however, various UAE authorities have; for health and safety reasons; been enforcing legislation that prevents unlicensed entities from performing laser treatments. This has led to an influx in customers seeking laser treatments at licensed, legitimate establishments such as Silkor.

The region’s largest laser medical chain, Silkor is staffed by fully-trained medical professionals, who use only modern, well-maintained equipment.  This increase in the number of customers seeking laser therapies from licensed medical facilities, combined with Silkor’s rapid expansion into new markets, including KSA, Jordan, Kuwait and Oman, has led to an extensive recruitment drive by the chain, which includes Silkor’s first-time participation at Najah 2011.
