Kuwait International Bank (KIB) has launched a new exclusive service for its Black segment customers, offering complimentary luxury limousine transfers to and from the airport. The initiative, launched in collaboration with transport service provider Wiyak, underscores the bank’s ongoing commitment to premium client service.

The new benefit is aimed at enhancing the travel experience of KIB’s high-tier clientele, delivering on both comfort and convenience. The service is available free of charge to eligible customers and can be booked by calling or messaging Wiyak on WhatsApp at least 24 hours before departure.

Mariam Al-Nasser, Head of Branches and Premier Banking at KIB, explained the thinking behind the initiative. “At KIB, we are committed to enriching the experience of our Black segment customers through carefully tailored services that align with their lifestyle and meet their aspirations,” she said.

Al-Nasser emphasized that the partnership with Wiyak is part of a broader strategy to provide elevated services that reflect the prestige and expectations of this customer group. “Our collaboration with Wiyak falls within this vision, offering a luxury transport service that ensures the highest levels of comfort and privacy, from the moment they depart to their return from travel.”

She added, “We believe that excellence lies in the details, and we continuously strive to enhance our offerings in a way that reflects the stature of our customers and their trust in the Bank.”

The luxury transfers are only one component of a growing suite of privileges available to KIB’s Black customers. Among the other premium benefits are:

  • Priority processing of banking and financial transactions
  • A dedicated relationship manager
  • Access to designated lounges within branches
  • VIP phone service for faster communication
  • Online priority booking for branch visits via the KIB website and mobile app
  • Free local and international money transfers
  • A 50% discount on safe deposit box fees

Additionally, Black customers who hold KIB’s Visa Infinite credit cards are entitled to a 15% discount on other transportation and rental services offered by Wiyak.

This latest offering aligns with KIB’s broader goals to innovate within its premium banking segment and maintain a competitive edge in client servicing. Al-Nasser concluded by stating the bank’s commitment to expanding its range of high-end benefits through future partnerships and exclusive services.

As customer expectations continue to evolve, banks across the region are increasingly turning to value-added services to retain and attract premium clientele. KIB’s new offering may set a precedent for how financial institutions in the Gulf adapt luxury and lifestyle offerings to banking services.
